Once again Brooklands invited the SE Centre on both days to display our cars with the gazebo, sales and publicity.
This annual event is always worth visiting for the vast array of mainly pre-second world war cars and other additional attractions including aviation.
This year also featured Julian Aubert’s reconstruction of three pre-first world war aircraft which were run up on both days. He also owns a mark one MGB GT. Yes, we are working on him to join the club, so far without success as he is too heavily involved with his aircraft!
We primarily attend this event to recruit new club members and renew interest from those who may have previous involvement and at the same time represent Main Club as well as the SE Centre.
Once again we were not disappointed as membership packs were handed out on both days to a number of possible new members.
