The SE Centre Spring Run took place on Sunday 28th April. The start was conveniently located at Halstead, close to Junction 4 on the M25 with breakfast and coffee in the Toby Inn. 24 cars took part and enjoyed an interesting run through NW Kent countryside with bluebell woodlands, apple orchards in full blossom and picturesque villages to the finish at the Medway Yacht Club, just opposite to Gillingham on the River Medway Estuary with splendid views up the river.
Members arrived for lunch and an excellent Sunday Carvery was served. Some members took advantage of a river cruise in the Club Launch in the afternoon with interesting views of Chatham Historic Dockyard and Upnor Castle. Thanks to Dick Owen for organising an excellent run.
