Navigational rallies are great fun when out and about on the ground in our MGs but with Covid Lockdown we turn to an alternative form, which is also great fun, and you don’t need to leave home.
We’ll be heading out of area to Hereford and Leominster and the rally is a combination of an Ordnance Survey 149 map and Google Streetview.
There are 8 sections and you navigate to them using techniques such as grid references, spot heights, herringbones, tulips and grid square directions. Not all routes will be on public roads. Once you have arrived at the correct location you will then use Google Earth Streetview to look for answers to clues.
That’s it – you have up to two and a half hours to complete it (dependent on your skill level) starting at 10am on the morning of Sunday 7th February.
