Something a little different this year for the Autumn Leave Run. As well as a nice autumnal drive in your MGs around West Sussex we will be combining it with a “scavenger hunt” involving short strolls around some of the villages on the route.
The ‘Black Horse’ Treasure Hunt has been enhanced to a Run and Scavenger Hunt this year. Traditionally held in December, the event date has been brought forward for entrants to enjoy more of the Autumn weather and colours.
The Run will be over approximately 32 miles with the start due south of
Horsham near Cowfold and the finish at the Sportsman Pub, Goddards
Green, Hurstpierpoint. Along the route, the run will visit pretty West
Sussex villages such as Steyning, Bramber and Henfield where the walking
Scavenger will take place.
The start will be at a garden centre with café for refreshments from
10.00am with lunch at the Sportsman at the finish. The Run is non-competitive but there will be an overall guide time for arriving at the finish.
