The South East Centre’s second Naviscat of the year takes place in the Sevenoaks area of Kent. If you have never taken part in a Naviscat before then the term means “Navigational Scatter”.
It is basically that – you’ll need an OS map, pencil, ruler, driver and navigator. You’ll be given a list of Ordnance Survey map points to plot and then you will navigate your way around them. Once you arrive at a plot point there will be a clue ranging from one to three points depending on difficulty. You then navigate back to the finish point, hand your answers in and go and enjoy a pub lunch.
Whilst you are enjoying lunch our organisers will be marking your results and the winners announced just after dessert.
It’s a fun day out and can be challenging too. If you are novice or expert there is something for everyone in taking part.
This is known as Motorsport UK Taster event and is open to any vehicle or person so you don’t even have to have an MG to take part or be a club member!
