The Centre’s Annual Lunch and Awards takes place in the country house surroundings of
Hartsfield Manor in Betchworth Surrey RH3 7AA
on Sunday 17th November 2024
The Lunch traditionally marks the end of the season for the Centre and also hosts the Annual Club Awards. This year, the format will be slightly different as you will see below.
We are delighted that the vehicle and aviation artist Richard Wheatland will join us for the lunch and speak afterwards of his 40 years of experience in painting stunning aviation and motoring scenes. He will be bringing examples of his work along to the lunch so it will become something of an art exhibition as well! He also takes commissions for paintings so if you would like to see your own MG depicted on canvas then he would be delighted to talk to you at the event.
The day will take a different format to previous events with the Awards being before the lunch itself so that some receiving them will not have to stay for the entire event should they not be able to.
For those wishing to join us for the whole day there will be a free welcome drink after the Awards followed by a two or three course lunch. Richard Wheatland will be our special guest and his talk will be followed by the raffle draw and the results of the Secretary’s Challenge. A pictorial display of our 2024 events and the MG Centenary will be shown and Club Regalia will be available for sale. In addition, our Club Chairman, Tim Morris, will be happy to sign copies of his new book, MGF and TF, which will be available at the lunch.
The Awards only package includes coffee & Cake and the Awards Presentation.
The full lunch package includes Coffee & Cake on arrival, free welcome drink (wine, beer or soft drink), 2 or 3 course lunch, after lunch coffee/tea. (If you are having lunch then you do not need a separate morning coffee & Cake ticket)
