The South East Run 2025

Joine us for the inaugural South East Run on Sunday 18th May 2025 and celebrate the MG Car Club’s 95th Anniversary.

This new MG Car Club scenic run begins at Denbies Wine Estate in Dorking where you will have an opportunity for breakfast and tea/coffee in the cafe. Maybe you might like to stock up on some bottles of Surrey Gold whilst you are there!

You will then head out in your MG guided by your route book across the North and South Downs to finish at Herstmonceaux Castle in East Sussex. This moated castle has its origins in the 15th Century and will be open for visits on the day we arrive. There is an opportunity for a guided tour by one of the Castle’s expert guides during the afternoon. Please indicate on the form below if you would like to take one of these and at what time.

We will be parked on the grass area immediately in front of the castle. It is an ideal location for a picnic or you can use the Castle’s Chestnut Cafe. There are a series of gardens surrounding the castle to enjoy an afternoon walk after your drive.

Please note: The castle is undergoing some restoration and there may be scaffolding.

Entry is £15 per car and driver (£20 for non-MGCC members) and £10 per passenger.

The Guided Tours at Herstmonceaux are £4 per person.
