Do you have a teenager in the family aged 14-17yrs?
You may be surprised to learn that they can take part in some of our MG driving activities.
We are looking for teenagers in your family to take part in a new challenge which involves an autotest or autosolo, navigation and an MG Challenge Quiz.
Challenge 1 – Driving
Driving in an AutoSOLO or Autotest – These are timed driving tests around a coned route. The entrant would drive the route accompanied by a parent or grandparent holding a Road Traffic Act driving licence. The entrant would need to demonstrate that the car can be driven safely.
Routes are laid out in compliance with Motorsport UK rules and arranged to prevent excessive speeds being driven. There is a video on the MGCC SE Centre YouTube channel of a previous AutoSOLO.
The Autosolo is on the 5th April – click here for details

Challenge 2 -Navigation
Road Route Navigation – This challenge will comprise plotting a route on an OS Landranger map with the
route visiting a number of points on the map. This is followed by acting as the navigator and directing the
driver to drive the course. Completing the challenge is demonstrated by a photograph of the start and finish of the run.
There are two MGCCSE Navigational Scatters this year – the first is on 23rd March – click here for details
