Drive-it-Day Run to Pashley Manor Gardens

SUNDAY 27th APRIL 2025

This year the Centre will be visiting Pashley Manor Gardens at Ticehurst, Kent, TN5 7HE.  The run will be in aid of the FBHVC Drive-it day charity event and will begin at Kinights Garden Centre, Oxted Road, Godstone RH9 8DB. The route will be “self selected” and we’ll suggest some villages you might like to drive through on the way. So, you can use your Sat Nav or plan a route on  map.

This year the FBHVC are supporting Childline and funds are raised through donations or through purchase of a special rally plate – you’ll find the link below.

A hundred varieties of tulip are planted in colour themed garden ‘rooms’ throughout the grounds
and in pot displays. Visitors can wander from elegant displays of white lily flowered and palest
cream classic tulips planted around an old brick terrace, to the open space of sweeping herbaceous
borders covered in a riot of reds and oranges surrounded by tendrils of bronze fennel, or romantic
soft pink peony flowered blooms cloistered between red brick walls and pleached pear trees. Follow
the winding paths down to the woodland, where the Bluebell Walk is often in flower around the
same time as the tulips.
Yet more tulips are on display as cut flowers in the Bloms Bulbs marquee. Bloms, winners of
seventy Chelsea Gold Medals, are on hand throughout the Festival to share their knowledge of
these beautiful bulbs and to take orders from those inspired by the spectacle.
With a café serving locally sourced and homemade cakes, scones and light lunches, which
can be enjoyed on the terrace, a shop with gorgeous gifts, souvenirs and plants, and exhibitions of
garden sculpture and floral art, Pashley’s Tulip Festival makes a superb day out.

HOW TO ENTER

1. Complete the form below to let us know you are joining us – we are making no charge but need an idea of numbers for the Manor to arrange parking.
2. This run is in aid of the Drive-it-Day charity and you can purchase your rally plate from the FBHVC by pressing the button below. Plates are £12.50 or £30 dependent on the donation you wish to make.
3. Tickets to Pashley Manor cost £16 per adult and can be purchased on the day or in advance from the Pashley Manor website above..
