Join us in the heart of the Kent countryside for the second of the new Summer BBQ & PoO event. This event has a historic Centre precedent when it was known as the Rookcross and latterly the Woodcroft Concours. Today it is a Pride of Ownership only and a barbecue in the pub gardens and we will be returning to the Kentish Horse pub in Mark Beech.
The venue is located just south of Edenbridge and with easy access from Tunbridge Wells, East Grinstead and South London. There will be a marquee for the barbecue just in case of inclement weather and the MGs will be in a field immediately behind the pub. The pub will be providing the BBQ in the event field, offering a menu choice.
The event entry fee will include the BBQ salads, potato, bread roll and one portion of meat as well as Pride of Ownership participation. Additional meats can be ordered on the day from the multiple choice menu.
The event opens at Midday and the BBQ will be served from 1.00pm. The Pride of Ownership will be self judged commencing at 2.00pm. Classes will be Premier Pride of Ownership for recent past winners and Pride of Ownership split into a minimum of three classes, namely pre 1956, 1956 through to 1990 and post 1990 to date. There will also be a Car of Show. Rosette awards will be be given out at 4.00pm, with
keepsake awards being presented at the MGCC SE Centre Annual Lunch and Awards at Hartsfield Manor, Betchworth on 16th November.
Please bring your own picnic chairs and tables.
Event entry includes the Barbecue and automatic entry to the PoO plus carbon offsetting.
