The MG100 SE event took place over the weekend of 17th/19th May 2024 and was organised by the South East MG Car Club and MG Owners Club.

The event drew to a close the MG Centenary in the South East and was a celebration of all things MG.

It featured the MG 100 Cavalcade arriving in the South East at Ancaster MG, Dartford on the Friday afternoon before heading off the following day on one of the Centenary Five Road Runs leading to the lawns in front of The Fairmile in Cobham, Surrey.

At The Fairmile there was an afternoon of gentle live jazz, amazing close up magic from Marco and a talk from MGCC President John Day about his life with MG. An evening buffet on the lawns in a splendid marquee closed off the evening’s relaxed fun.

On Sunday we headed to Brooklands Museum for a full day focussing on 100 years of MG with particular emphasis on competition cars as befits the historic location. Naturally, all MGs from the vintage to the modern were welcome and there was something for any era of interest – talks in the Napier Room, Cherished Vehicle Insurance Pride of Ownership, display of competition cars across the ages, MG Decades Display, MG traders, Live entertainment and the chance to take your own MG up the famous Brooklands Test Hill with the Church Square Autos Test Hill Runs.
